About

Since the beginning of 2015, our research on airway epithelium has adopted a new approach enabling single-cell studies, within the framework of a project supported by the PACA Cancer Cluster, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the French National Genomics Network, and the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council. Work carried out using several single-cell sequencing technologies (C1 Fluidigm and Chromium 10X Genomics) has allowed us to acquire information on several thousand cells, the properties of which are now being studied in detail by our team.

Using the data generated, we study not only normal tissue development as it occurs during growth, but also under conditions mimicking pathological conditions, in which alterations in differentiation profiles are caused by high levels of certain cytokines. We are currently working to model the gene regulatory networks involved in the most parsimonious way possible.
