Assignment The infrastructure manager will assist the IPMC's IT manager in the administration of the Unit's computer system and network. They will improve performance, participate in the day-to-day management of applications, and provide user support for the deployed information system components.
Activities :
– Manage and maintain the hardware and software inventory (approximately 400 computers: Windows, MacOS and Linux)
– Assist in the maintenance of various servers and services (Web, email, DNS, DHCP…)
– Maintain the functional network architecture (Switches, Router…)
– Ensure the security of information systems and the building: firewall, remote control, VPN, surveillance cameras, access control (badge), workstation encryption.
– Resolve or escalate incidents
– Apply the installation and update settings for workstations, in accordance with the institution's IT policy
– To assist, advise, support and train users
– Configure and maintain tools that automate the deployment and maintenance of the fleet
– Participate in technology monitoring.
– Participate in the drafting of documentation (user manuals, procedures)
– Participate in the development of support tools (procedures, queries, reporting, knowledge base)
