CRISPR SCREEN UniCA

About

This platform aims to provide support for CRISPR/Cas9 technology in order to:
– to perform functional genomic screening experiments (targeted or genome-wide)
– to improve the vectorization strategy
– to perform a knock-out or knock-down for a given gene in a cell model
– to carry out expression screens on a large number of samples

Applications 

– Design of phenotypic screens or “single-cell” transcriptomic screens
– Choice of the appropriate CRISPR system
– Design and production of the cellular model expressing Cas9
– Design of the sgRNA bank (targeted screening) or selection of a “genome wide” library
– Amplification of the library and viral production
– Optimization of vectorization
– Preparation of sgRNA libraries, sgRNA sequencing, bioinformatics analysis
– Advice and/or design of a KO / KD for a given gene in a cellular model
– Carrying out an expression screen on a large number of samples (high-throughput qPCR system)
