MEDITES is a territorial structuring and innovation project for the development of scientific and technical culture and for equal opportunities. The MEDITES project This initiative brings together numerous stakeholders, both institutional and non-profit, in the scientific culture of the Alpes-Maritimes and Var departments. Its primary objective is to provide young people with access to scientific culture, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. To achieve this, educational programs are developed in consultation with the Regional Education Authority and the teaching staff of various schools. Several major themes are offered, and activities take place throughout the school year following a rigorous methodology.
Thomas Maurin, a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Bardoni's team, is responsible for the educational program «"Medical research and neuroscience"» The aim is to explore the challenges associated with autism through diverse scientific perspectives, ranging from psychology to molecular biology. This program features numerous speakers from both the research team and the laboratory.
