Missions
The engineer will be involved in:
– 2D/3D primary/line cell culture
-Biochemistry (Western-Blot, Immunoprecipitation)
-Protein purification
– Analysis of cell behavior (morphology, proliferation, migration…)
Activities
– Conduct experiments using various techniques (electrophoresis, biochemical techniques, cell culture)
– To know and be able to implement cell biology experiments.
– Sense of organization, rigor and method, motivation, autonomy.
SKILLS
– Ability to perform careful and rigorous work
– Dynamism, organizational skills, autonomy, and a taste for teamwork
– Expertise in biochemistry and/or cell biology
Work context
The position is available at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (IPMC) in Valbonne – Sophia Antipolis (Alpes-Maritimes). The IPMC is a joint research unit (UMR 7275) established between the CNRS and the Université Côte d'Azur (250 people, 8,000 m² of buildings). Its 22 research teams benefit from a high-level technological environment in integrative biology, molecular and cellular biology, imaging, cytometry, biomolecule analysis, functional genomics, as well as shared technical platforms for proteomics and metabolomics. The engineer will work in the "Cellular Mechanics and Metabolism: From Tissue to Molecule" team.
The position is located in a sector related to the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
